BOOK THE FIRST STEP
Why Absolute · Wayne, NJ

BECOME SOMEONE YOU'RE PROUD TO BE.

Founded in 2013 in Wayne, NJ, Absolute Martial Arts helps students of every age build earned confidence — the kind that comes from effort, integrity, and respect, not from being told you're great. Confidence isn't given. It's built.

Who Absolute Helps

A ROOM FOR EVERYONE WHO SHOWS UP.

Beginners, nervous children, adults starting over, and students who struggle are all welcome here. From our youngest 4-year-old Tigers learning listening and control, to our adult Krav Maga practitioners training for real-world self-defense — every student starts where they are. No one is expected to walk in confident. We help them build it, one step at a time.

Progress comes through practice, effort, and consistency. We don't promise guaranteed transformations, and we don't shame anyone who finds it hard. We coach, we repeat, we try again — together.

Why Earned Confidence Matters

BELONGING IS GIVEN. ACHIEVEMENT IS EARNED.

Telling someone they're confident doesn't make it so. Real confidence — the kind that holds up under pressure — comes from doing hard things, working through them, and seeing the proof in yourself. That's earned confidence. Martial arts is the process. The standard is how we keep it honest: effort, integrity, respect, and continuous progress.

Relentless

Take the next step.

Progress isn't about being perfect. It's about showing up again after a hard day, a missed technique, or a tough round. Relentless means you keep stepping — one rep, one class, one try at a time.

Integrity

Own your actions.

We tell the truth about our effort — to ourselves and our training partners. Integrity means owning mistakes, making them right, and training honestly even when no one is watching.

Excellence

Give your best attention and effort.

Excellence isn't perfection. It's the choice to be fully present and give your best effort right now — on the days you feel strong and the days you don't. Attention and effort, repeated, become a standard.

Leaders Go First

MEET MASTER CHRIS HEISER

Master Chris Heiser is a 5th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo and a 1st Dan Black Belt in Krav Maga. He has trained in martial arts for 30 years and spent 25 years teaching students.

Leadership at Absolute isn't a title — it's responsibility, humility, effort, and respect, modeled first by the instructors and then practiced by every student. Leaders go first into the hard thing, the honest conversation, the extra rep. They set the standard by living it, not by demanding it.

Since founding Absolute Martial Arts in 2013, Master Chris has helped more than 1,500 students develop practical martial arts skills, confidence, discipline, focus, fitness, and self-defense — the kind built through effort, not handed out.
